A New Day

I’m a sucker for sunsets, sunrises, silhouettes and reflections – so naturally, I was like a kid in a candy store on my first evening and morning on Providencia.  The first shot was taken an hour or two after arriving on the island, as the sun set near Santa Isabel; the second shot was taken from the balcony of our posada the following morning, looking over Crab Caye as the sun rose.  I shot off a few frames and then happily crawled back in bed, mission accomplished.

  • Bob Lussier - Love them both. The first one has a wonderful abstract feel to it.ReplyCancel

  • Jesse Pafundi - This thing on? Take two. Love the blue tones in that first frame but the comp using the silhouettes is quite strong. Well done.ReplyCancel

  • A.Barlow - Love the first shot and the total blue. Almost really like how the clouds sit so low on the horizon line.ReplyCancel

  • Chris DeAngelis - Love the stillness of the first one… So calming! Great silhouettes!ReplyCancel

  • Adam Olson - Beautiful shots Brian. Love the peaceful stillness of these shots. Perfect!ReplyCancel

  • Rick Louie - Wonderful first image. Love the low hanging clouds hovering over the still water. Well done!ReplyCancel
