Rocky Mountain National Park

I visited Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado, with my good friend Lee a little over a month ago.  We took the weekend to hike around a few gorgeous lakes and to take in the gorgeous scenery that surrounds you from every angle throughout the park.  Our itinerary on day one was to start at the Bear Lake trailhead for sunrise, then to hike into the park to check out Loch Vale; sunset at Sprague Lake ended up being a bit of a wash as the weather didn’t cooperate, but it was an awesome day nonetheless.  On day two, we started at Sprague Lake again for sunrise, then headed to the Bear Lake trailhead for a shorter hike to Dream Lake and Emerald Lake, which had some of the most beautiful landscapes of the trip.  I’ll have a few more posts coming, but for now here are a few images in no particular order from the weekend.
