Sarah & Maarten’s wedding was an absolutely rad party.  We started in NYC, then journeyed out to Bushwick, Brooklyn to Roberta’s, which serves up bangin’ pizza and even better weddings.  These two were surrounded by loving family and friends who laughed, cried, and danced the night away to an afterparty back in NYC at a karaoke bar.  Big props for Christian for bringing me along for the ride.

Erin & Brad’s artistic Brooklyn wedding was, to put it mildly, an absolute blast to shoot and be a part of.  They got married at the newly-renovated 501 UNION, a totally rad warehouse-style event space originally constructed in 1916 to restore classic cars.  These two were incredibly laid back, and were down to shoot some portraits at the Brooklyn Bridge promenade and a few other iconic locations in DUMBO.

There aren’t words to describe how amazing this wedding weekend was.  Two of my dear friends, Laura & Ryan, got married in Truro, Cape Cod, in a beautiful backyard ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.  The weekend kicked off with a rehearsal dinner featuring an awesome pig roast, countless games of KanJam, craft beers, and…a massive hurricane.  We all huddled in the backyard tent as the Category 2 storm kicked up to full force, with everyone running out for more KanJam whenever the rain and wind died down.  Not even a hurricane could stop the party.

Laura & Ryan – thank you so much for letting me be there with your favorite people, and thank you for letting me tell your story.  So many laughs, happy tears, and great memories.

Greta & Steve have lived in Long Island City, NY for as long as they can remember, and wanted their engagement photos to be there as well.  We checked out some rad graffiti before heading over to Gantry Plaza State Park at sunset, with the NYC skyline as a backdrop.  Congrats you two – NYC (and Queens) looks good on you.

Thomas & Gregory’s Ritz Carlton wedding in downtown NYC was an absolute blast, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.  The love they share for each other was so apparent from the moment I met them, and it was truly awesome to see how completely happy they make each other.

Pranjali and Maciej’s Indian wedding was absolutely off the charts good. They got married in Beacon, New York at the gorgeous Roundhouse at Beacon Falls, and the entire day was an amazing display of love from both of their families. The incredible mix of cultures (Pranjali is Indian, Maciej is Polish) was something that sticks out in my mind – from the henna, colorful saris, and spectacular music to the smallest of traditions on both sides.

Emily & Blayne’s rustic backyard wedding in Orient, New York was absolutely amazing to be a part of. The wedding was held on a gorgeous farm and was completely filled with love, stunning homemade details, several loud roosters, and two awesome dogs. Emily & Blayne were total troopers and were game to try every portrait location I could find, despite the midday heat and more than a few enormous swarms of bugs. I’m so pumped to share this day and the love Emily & Blayne have for each other.

Jana & Dan’s Long Island beach wedding in Mattituck was an absolute gem. Any time you get to combine an intimate celebration, a gorgeous beach, and a New Orleans-style brass band, it’s going to be a good day. So honored to have been a part of this epic day – you two rock.

Kathryn & Clay got married at the gorgeous Beach Club in Lloyd Harbor on Long Island, NY. One of the best parts of the wedding was all the vintage details put together and passed down by Kathryn, Clay, and their families, making it a special tribute on their big day.  It was a super intimate affair, with close family and friends gathering to show their love and party their faces off. The love was palpable between Kathryn & Clay, and the killer sunset helped cement what was an amazing day filled with laughs, joy, and lots of craft beers.
